Any good? I mean the FB?? Yeah some guy started it and he is making billions out of it! So what you get for using it? I mean its free and you post anything and what else? Its a platform to find new friends and old friends as well.. so what else are there in FB??
I think it has done more harms than good for some people.
How? Yeah just look at tthe profile some people. Its fake! Men want to be women and women intro themselves as men!! Why? I dont know. There are pages promoting porns and the amount of pictures they post are unlimited. Some people using it for promoting their sex business. Dont believe!! Just type 'sex' and tell me what you get in FB!!! Some promoting group sex also!!! Young girls showing off their bodies and some images showing all!.
Its also taking lot of time from your working hours!! Since some people are so addicted to FB that they ignore their jobs. There are lot of useless groups in the FB!! They just start a topic and argue for nothing to kingdom to come! Often some of the pages will see natural death since the participation is too low.
Worrying trend is nowadays even the kids are in the FB. below 12 have FB accounts. Gangster and criminal groups have FB accounts!!! There are pages/groups promoting gangsterism in FB. They are merely young!!! With parangs and all. Then their girlfriends have another group that discuss and share about their boyfriends' or partners' "achievements"!!!
FB makes it so easy to have extra-marital affairs . Be friend with someone.. and just start chatting n chatting and chatting. Until the thing clicks!!! A word such as sex or a F word can trigger something. The meeting up and hotel etc etc etc..There are some guys/girls out there who like to lead or mislead, depends on the way we are seeing, advising some women that its okay to have extramarital affairs and its okay to stray outside your marriage. They call themselves mentor or patron or whatever they like.
I think its important to educate the youngsters about the risk of social networks/medias. The above is just part of bad things about FB and social network. Unimaginable crimes have happened in foreign countries in the past and happening still due to FB and other social networks. Just be careful there.
