Just saying

So the Chinese of main land China are cursing Malaysia? Yeap, isn it our own doing? I mean the authorities high up there! You know what i am talking about! Someone says 'we have never had any major incidents in last 37 yrs'! I agree if its only on air disasters! I was 9yrs old when the MH 653 was hijacked and eventually crashed and killed all 100 on board! Before i cont'u i just found out today that there was no proper closure for this tragedy as well! A few specualtions! How only in Malaysia even an air disaster could escape scrutiny of international community?

So since then we didnt have any air disaster! Okay fine and we enjoyed one of the best safety records in Asia especially. But what about other disasters? What you call a disaster? Isnt it a disaster even a life is lost? How about the Highland tower tragedy on 11 December 1993 killing 48 people? How about all those bus accidents that killed many people and still killing! What we have learned and steps we have come up with to prevent?

Back to present issue, MH370 is killing every good citizens of this country emotionally to know the truth. Not only the victims' families but all other normal people also want a proper closure! Let me tell those who keep parroting Malaysia never had any major air disaster in last 37yrs.

It take 6000 unsafe act and unsafe condition to keep repeating to become
another 300 near misses, which if keep repeating and not rectified will lead to another
60 minor incidents, which if we do not rectify will lead to

ONE MAJOR ACCIDENT! A catastrophe! A disaster! KABOOM!!!

Provided that no hijacking and/or sabotage was involved in this disaster just look at the amount of chances or time they may have to rectify any faulty condition that may have led to this catastrophe!

Anyway im from marine industry. the above theory is for the marine and offshore industry, but i am pretty sure with so many lives involved and risks involved the statistics for airline industry must be much lower than the above! What ever it is when and if we find any defect on a plane, in any part of it shouldn't they rectify it at once!

I cant help wondering too if this is the price that we have to pay for complacency? Let me say something else,
Human nature is such that longer you do something similar for a long time you tend to become complacent and tend to develop some negative thoughts in them such as,

it will never happen to me
i am always right
it has been done this way from last time
what could possibly go wrong
dont try to tell me what to do

These are negative thoughts, ideas that develop in our mind after we have been doing the same things again and again and again for a long time. For some people it come naturally! Remember Titanic? They said she could have been saved or the damage cold have been minimized if the senior captain listened to the 2nd officer's suggestion that they should turn back to nearest port. Also they were doing nearly 12 knots in an ice packed area! 12 kts is just about 30km/hr on land but very fast at sea! The rest is history.
Remember Exxon Valdez disaster off Alaska?
How about the BP Deepwater oil platform sink at Gulf of Mexico? Rumors that some spare parts used were not genuine causing the rig give away much faster.

So what the engineers at the airport did? Did they checked all properly? Or did they just tick the checklists? How about the pilot and co-pilot? Are there any chances the guys developed the above syndrome and tick the checklist too? I dont know! The cockpit is a very complicated place. I was in it on a MAS flight once when taking off. Can remember from where! It was the time i was just married and was going to Cairo with my wife to join a ship there. One of the flight attendants (male) turned out to be someone i know and he relayed the message to the captain that they have a 'just married' couple on the flight and the captain invited us to be his guests of honour! I promise you i have been at sea at worst kind of weather condition and still couldn't sit there for the take off! It was intimidating and scary to be in that cockpit. So i thanked the captain and came back to our seats after the seat belts sign switched off. And we were treated specially for the whole period of the flight! So whats the big deal about being in a cockpit? Either you have to know when to leave and the pilots have to know when to chase you away. That's all!

So back to the present story again, WHAT IF all the checks were just a tick on the checklists and not actually checked? Just asking! For the record i know shit about flight and planes! So im just saying!
How about the air traffic control? Did they ask the captain the right questions about the condition of the plane and did they receive a good response from the captain or co-pilot? For all i know they too could have developed the same syndromes as above and maybe just a little bit more than the pilots!

All done and gone!

MAS is one of the biggest organization in the world! In Malaysia its a GLC! N that will explain most of its lost and under-performance. I cant stop wondering why and what they try to hide in the press conference! 1st the guys who represented Malaysia to the whole world were like cartoon characters! The quality of their English was nonsensical at times! Someone try to use Balatoli aka Batoli to describe the two fake passport users with no success and make an ass out of himself! The Chief of Air Force cant even explain why they even bother to check what was the object detected on their radar, let alone scramble the jets to intercept it! Suddenly the IGP came into picture with his own contradicting and twisting stories and his statement such as 'you take it from me la'!

Was this Emergency Response Team for the MH370 incident? Agreed we didnt have an air disaster for a long time but dont you carry out emergency drills? Im sure they have! Or that one also just tick the checklists??  I agree one thing everybody was panic! But this kind of response is totally UNACCEPTABLE! Then come more conflicting stories just to be denied by either the minister or some others the next day or the next hour!

Any idea what they have done actually? To the nation? To her people? To the passengers' family? Its called total BULLSHIT! They have betrayed this whole nation! It was like hitting my head on the wall, listening to this PC and their answers for the questions asked! All they want to know is the truth! Give them straight answers ans do not humiliate them this way! They have lost loved ones! Their bread winners! Their only child maybe! They dont want money! At least not now! In the event of loosing all the hope to find them ever, the airlines have a big settlement to make! They want answers! Some are really offended by the way the airline treated them and treating them still! and sending to Beijing a group of people with no Mandarin fluency! That's even more insulting!

What Malaysia going to about it! For the sake of all i do hope they find the plane like yesterday!

Just saying!
